RDR UK has collaborated with LifeArc to launch Raremap, the UK’s first directory of rare disease organisations.
Raremap has been created to help you find out more about the organisations in the UK rare disease ecosystem, what they do and how they interact with each other.
The rare disease ecosystem is rich and diverse, drawing on the collective expertise of patients, academia, industry, healthcare providers and policymakers to drive impact.
With so many organisations working across these areas and more, it can be difficult to build a clear picture of the landscape and know who to connect with.
That’s why we’ve collaborated with LifeArc to launch Raremap, a live directory of rare disease organisations designed to make it easier to discover, find and connect with others in the rare disease ecosystem.
What's on Raremap?
On Raremap you can:
discover rare disease organisations
browse by category and function, whether you’re looking for funders, clinical trial developers or PPIE leads
see how organisations connect and interact
request to add your own organisation
Is your organisation included?
This is just the beginning – we’re aiming to get as many organisations on board as we can. We’re hopeful that this can grow into an active community across researchers, funders, patient groups and more.
By joining, you’ll be part of a living resource that reflects the amazing work happening across the UK.
LifeArc is a self-funded medical research organisation with one clear purpose – transforming the lives of people living with rare diseases and drug-resistant infections.
They aim to deliver this by conducting and funding pioneering research and working with partners to accelerate the translation of scientific breakthroughs into new tests and treatments.
