Event: mTOR Pathway Diseases Node 2024 Symposium

The mTOR Pathway Disease Node is holding a 1-day symposium, jointly with the MRC Centre for Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDDs), on rare NDDs at Bush house, London on 23rd April 2024:

Tackling challenges in rare neurodevelopmental disorders: an integrated perspective” 

The symposium aims to spotlight the major challenges and latest developments in rare neurodevelopmental disorder (NDD) research from the viewpoint of people with lived experience, clinical researchers, basic scientists, industry and the NHS.

Objectives:

· Understand the overall landscape of rare NDDs.

· Describe gaps in evidence and major challenges in translational research.

· Learn how basic science can address key obstacles in early translation.

· Appreciate the complexities of evidence generation for new drug development and approvals.
